Swimming, one of my hobbies!

Hi,
I wish to share with you my experiences and feelings associated with this beautiful sport.
I love swimming! I have swum regularly for about five years and each time I came to the swimming pool I feel very happy and satisfied.
For me swimming is a part of everyday's life. I can't imagine even one week without doing it. Maybe it's a kind of addiction..;)

Why swimming? I think I don't have to write the advantages of swimming because there are lots of them.. to remind you, swimming:
  • improves our condition;
  • is the perfect way to keep our body slim
  • helps in better breathing ( you know what I mean :D )
  • is the best way to get back into shape and fitness after an accident

These are only a few advantages of swimming ;)
To be honest at the swimming pool I feel totally relaxed and pleased..
After whole day or even week of doing hard skills all I dream about is to jump into the water and forget about everything just for a moment..
What's funny, I love the smell of chlorine too.:)) Maybe it's weird but it reminds me where I am. :)

I'm not a professional swimmer, I swim for myself in my free time. ;)
I think it's quite important to do some sports when we find some time. Our bodies need it!
At the begining it's often hard to find doing some sport necessary and we convince ourself not to do it.But remember, don't give up!
You won't regret it ;))

Isn't it beautiful ? :D
I think I'm going to swim today ;))

See you in next post!

The 5th Wave

Hi ,
I would like you to get interested in the film I have recently seen.
The 5th Wave, directed by J Blakeson is is "an effectively decent post-apocalyptic, young-adult, world-in-the-balance survival thriller" (the review from variety.com)
The fact is that I was very intrigued by the story of the film.
I'm keen on watching action films and thrillers so keeping track of the story was a great pleasure.
The film is based on the novel by Rick Yancey.

Now let's read a small summary.
'The 5th Way' tells the story of a young girl, Cassie Sullivan (Chloe Grace Moretz) living in Ohio who was typical teenager: she joined the parties, fell in love with one of her school's hunks, Ben Parish (Nick Robinson) and did the things all girls in her age do.
But the fairytale has ended.
The arrival of a massive alien ship just above their street changes everything.
Cassie and her family have to move out and fight for their survival.
We can observe how the young and carefree girl changes herself into responsible and courageous for her and her little brother, Sam (Zackary Arthur) one.
Cassie after a painful loss of her loved ones promises herself to avenge their deaths.
She meets Evan Walker, semi-human, semi-alien who rescues her and helps her to look for her brother.
All the people who survived have to fight with the aliens to regain the Earth. It may sound piteously ridiculous but trust me, this movie is totally worth watching!

The film's plot keeps you in suspense from beginning to the end.

I hope you will find the film absolutely delightful as I do. ;)

Best regards,
J.O

Beautiful French language!

This subject will probably interest some of you due to the faculty I and my classmates study :)

How many of you feel
satisfied during learning this language?
I do! I love French , it's phonetics, grammar, vocabulary and even different accents..
I have my future plans associated with this language.

I try not to break down when I do not pass the subjec's exam..that sometimes happens to all of us, so don't worry;) Everything I learn I do it for myself..:)

I have known the beauty of the French language at my high school, but unfortunately I had such a bad luck and I was taught by someone who had little patience and few ideas to make lessons more interesting..
Additionally other classmates didn't interest  in the subject as I did.. In case of this I had few opportunities to learn more. But I didn't give up and decided to continue my French's adventure at the University;)

For me learning foreign languages has a future..
Nowadays to get a well-paid job people should speak well at least two different languages..
That's what convinced me to study French too;)
I would like  to finish my studies with good results and become a French teacher at school.:)

Thanks for reading,
J.O ;)

Terrifying moment for all high school's graduates - MATURA EXAMS!

Hello to all of you,
in today's short post I would like to reflect a little on an important subject which is Matura Exam. As all of you know or can imagine May has come and  this massacre has returned...
Each year thousands of high school's students sit the exams and they probably live under stress for several weeks...
It sounds really awful but for sure lots of us  have it behind!
For me matura exams were very stressful because I wanted to write them the best I could. I have to say that during these several days I was eating and sleeping very little.. was it good for me? For sure it wasn't, but that weird feeling was stronger than normal thinking..
In addition to basic exams I also had three ones at the advanced level ( English, Geography and Polish) I needed great results from these exams so I learnt a lot and prepared well.

After several weeks I received the results and fortunately I passed all the exams :) I was totally happy, I think anyone who knows that feeling will agree with me.

What about your exams? Were they difficult? How did you feel? Was that whole time stressful to you? I'm looking forward to your answers ! :)

I would like to wish all this year's secondary school's graduates the best results and a positive attitude! The most important thing is to believe in yourself , then everything will be possible!:)
GOOD LUCK!
